Zuni bear fetishes are considered powerful healers and are a symbol of supreme power, strength. It is believed that the power of the Great Spirit breathes within bear. The Zuni believe that if you place a small button filled with corn meal under the nose of the Zuni Bear when you leave your home it will protect it while your away.
